If you want to help, you can! Becoming a leader can be very rewarding. There are many ways to help, some behind the scenes and some with direct contact in the field. The process to becoming a leader is the same either way.

Create an account at my scouting here if you dont already have one and take youth protection.
Apply and pay online here for Troop 112 or here for Troop 1112. We can add you to the other later for free.
What Makes a Leader “Trained” ?
Every leader position has multiple steps towards trained status. Check here below to determine which training courses you need to become trained.
Most requirements can be taken online at my.scouting.org, but in person training is faster and available several times a year. The calendar of upcoming training opportunities can be found here.
